Anti SPAM Guidance
Unfortunately we need to be very specific with our User Guidance for Webrequest. Since the spammers have taken over most of the email system, ISPs are maintaining lists of servers which send out SPAM and blacklisting them. Any misuse of Webrequest will breach the terms and conditions of our hosting partner, result in the xxxxxxx@frontofficebox.com email account being blacklisted and ruin the functionality of Front Office Box for all of the users.
PLEASE NOTE CAREFULLY – ANY MISUSE OF WEBREQUEST WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE OFFENDING FRONT OFFICE BOX WITHOUT WARNING FROM US. A DECISION TO CANCEL ACCESS PRIVILEGES IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE SUPPORT TEAM. IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED IMMEDIATELY AND NO APPEAL WILL BE CONSIDERED.
In order to avoid any unintentional misuse of Webrequest, these guidelines as to best practice MUST be adhered to.
- Do not send Webrequests to individuals private Email addresses unless you specifically have their permission to do so.
- Only send Webrequests to businesses which have specifically published an Email address where they are happy to be contacted.
- Always include in the Webrequest description a contact name, business name and address, phone number and Email address.
- Always provide a “Take me off your mailing list” option.
- Never send Webrequests to people who have asked to be moved from the list.
