We were flattered when invited to contribute to a new eBook being compiled by Brad Trnavsky over at Sales Management 2.0. and were pleased to contribute.

Brad has compiled quite a list of recognized thought leaders in this eBook. And best of all they offer a slightly different perspective on the opportunities available to sales guys in the 2.0 era.

So we can all “pay our money, and take our pick” except there is no money to pay.  The eBook is free.

What is Sales 2.0? This is a question I am sure a lot of people are asking themselves right now. It only takes a quick Google search to confirm that it’s a hot topic with 110,000 pages cached in Google at this time. For as much as it is being talked about though most sales people have no idea what it is, how it affects their business, or what they should do (if anything) to react to this current trend.

Why Write this Book?

As a sales blogger, podcaster, coach, and active sales manager I have to say the term was new to me as little as 18 months ago. To be quite honest with you right up until I started researching this e-book I would have had a very difficult time defining the term in less that a 10 minute conversation. My goal in assembling this book for you is to not only share my own thoughts on the topic but to gather 10 of the top thought leaders in the arena of sales and sales management to share their unique perspective on what is at this point is a concept that is rapidly evolving.
