How Businesses Should Social Network

Over the last several months I’ve been researching how small business owners view the new phenomena of social networking.  The vast majority of entrepreneurs I’ve spoken to reported they didn’t understand how to engage.  The various forums, and especially Twitter, are both confusing and intimidating.

Chris Brogan recently posted on how newcomers can get involved, and be confident in the way they do it.

As always Chris does a much better job of explaining this stuff than I can.  Read the full post at Be Naked but here’s a taster to set the scene.

“You don’t have to do any of this. You can just keep doing what you’re doing. But if you’re wondering why social media stuff isn’t working well for you, look at the list above and decide whether you’re giving this work the effort and intent that it requires.”
