Starting an Internet Business is Easy! Hundreds, if not thousands, do it everyday.

To get started all we need is access to the Internet. Once connected there’s a wealth of free resources available at the click of a mouse, and a lot of help if we look around a little.

The big search engines provide the tools, the access to customers, and the revenue stream with products like Adsense.

They need people like us to provide them with “content” – either articles for people to read, or products for people to buy, or services for people to use, or cash for Pay Per Click advertising.

With us as part of their eco-system creating reasons for others to use their services, and the search engines providing the technology and tools, it’s a Win Win game – everyone’s a winner.

The simplest, and quickest, start up is blog marketing. Sign up for a Blogger account with Google. Go to Ezine Articles to find articles you can copy (with accreditation of course) to your new blog. Sign up for Adsense – Google will publish appropriate advertisements on your blog and pay you a percentage of it’s Pay Per Click fee whenever your visitors visit the site advertised.

The more adventurous can start up a Ning community, using the adspace to promote other sites, or even their own books or services.

Anybody with stuff to sell can buy an e-commerce site from a host of web companies and offer it for sale.

The really adventurous can start their own version of Facebook, or Ebay, or even a business service like time recording or invoicing.

Relative to any other type of business the costs of establishing an Internet business are minimal.

Unfortunately the factors making start up so cheap are the same as those making ultimate success so challenging.

Because it’s easy to do, everybody else is doing it.

Starting an Internet business is like swimming in shark infested waters – something only the brave, or naive, will do.
