How Do I Use It?

by

“Ok, so it sounds really cool and looks nice, but what the hell do I do with it?”

We get asked this question all the time, by people who are a lot smarter than they give themselves credit for.

Explaining it’ll do whatever you want doesn’t cut the mustard.

(We’re all brainwashed by the software industry to think smart marketing guys and programmers can do a better job of managing our businesses than we can).

“Where are the features I can understand?” is what new users ask.

So to address this question we’ve set up a new category in the blog, all about how smart people use smart software to do smart things simply with the minimum effort and stress.

Watch this space for awesomely simple descriptions of how busy people stay on track with software that does the complex stuff in the background while they get on with the main challenge – being successful.

People buy the sizzle not the bacon. They purchase the hole not the drill. If we keep our thoughts focused on what the use is and not what the product is maybe they can find a reason to buy.
